Maver Larford Classic 2012

Well unfortunatley the weather and the fishing was poor for me. I was planning on writing up an in depth blog about these two days but I think it would be unfair to waste your time on what I did in the attempt to catch a fish. Istead I have put a little competition at the bottom of this post.

Day 1 saw me draw 67 on speci with pegs either side and not a lot caught here the day before I must admit I felt uninspired. I set up long method, bomb and pellet, pellet waggler, long pole on deck for skimmers and 2 edge lines for the day. Resulted in 5 bites all day 3 skimmers, 1 6lb carp and lost a huge margin fish at death.

Day 2 I drew peg 9 on the grass bank of match lake and had to mess around on long pole, short pole, bomb and pellet and the edge for a few fish, one thing i didnt set up was the method and tim bull next to me had a run of fish down the edge of that method. Overall a grim 2 days which has knocked the confidence slightly. A couple of good results are needed desperately now!!

!!CAPTION COMPETITION TIME!!

I am the 4th angler up and Gary Watling is the 6th angler up:
